Disgrace Towards Young Safe Drivers

I am extremely unhappy with the way Go Girl Car insurance handled my policy that I had placed on the 7th of January. We had received three very rude emails from them one claiming that we had an accident 4 years ago, which we didn't and provided proof off, the second email asked us to provide proof of all the licenses again which we did. Then we received another email threatening to shut my insurance policy down within 7 days. After receiving this email from Gogirl I had immediately called them to investigate and discovered that we had some how listed him as a provisional driver. So we are now thinking okay so why didn't you call us sooner about this mistake instead of leaving it this long. We then asked the guy on the phone how much it would cost to insure him as a full driving license only to discover to my horror that it would cost an additional £600 in total costing £1040 to insure a Peugeot 107! I investigated the pricing by using a comparison site called go-compare to find a policy that would only cost £480 with Hastings car insurance for us all on a full UK driving license this time and its comprehensive. I tell him no way am I prepared to pay that amount of money and ask to cancel which would cost me £40! How is that justified? I thought you could cancel within 14 days of the policy starting anyways!
