Ok but high interest rates

had to get a loan to help out with car repairs. I would not do again if I can help it, the interest rates are high and paying back hasn't helped with the cost of living crisis. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting a loan from anywhere if they can work out another way. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Keeping it simple

I used to spend hours checking out car insurance when mine was due for renewal every year. That was until I switched to Tesco Bank Car Insurance. My premium has hardly changed over the last 4 years and I still receive the same benefits. The customer service is top notch and any changes can be made online, therefore not costing the usual admin fees. All in all, a great service. Reviewed on: 10th July 2020

I rarely go into my local branch as use online banking mainly. Online services are second to none with an online account and mobile app to keep track of my spending regularly. When I do need to go into branch, I always receive a friendly welcome and fantastic customer service. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2019

Nothing hidden

Having had my home contents insurance with RIAS last year, when my renewal came up I was amazed to find there was hardly any increase in the cost for my second year's insurance, making them still cheaper than any other. Included in that is a great customer service who listen to your needs and process everything exactly when they are asked to. Hopefully next year's renewal quote will be just as competitive.
