When we needed them most

My cat is part of the family, and last year we had a bit of a scare. He started losing weight unexpectedly and developed laboured breathing. First there was the blockage in his nose, then the potential of cancer. Test after test, we gradually ruled out the possibilities of what was causing his issues. Eventually, it came down to some surgery to remove the blockage in his nose and a change in diet to address his elevated calcium levels. What people really don’t talk about is the cost of the tests. These ran into thousands for us. If it wasn’t for BoughtByMany the financial side would have caused some issues for us. Instead, every time I called to make a claim, I spoke with someone who was incredibly kind and considerate of the situation we were in. They asked about my cat, and were patient with my many questions. They even worked directly with my vet to cover the costs, so I didn’t have to pay for treatments before receiving the money from them. We ended up using the full cover amount in the first year so I was expecting a huge hike in premiums as a result. That didn’t happen, which was a welcome surprise.
