Top drawer support during my dog's illness

A couple of months after I got a new dog and insured her with bought-by-many (a piece of luck trawling through the internet) my dog fell ill with suspected pancreatitis. There was also some suspicion that she may have swallowed a sock and she was due to be spade. She fell extremely ill very quickly and was rushed in to the vets where they operated immediately. No sock, but a very inflamed stomach and an infected uterus which was removed ahead of the scheduled operation. This was a very stressful time for our family as Coco was a much wanted dog and we were all enormously worried. Every person I spoke to at bought-by-many was empathetic, heard me talk on and on about Coco, was beyond kind and clearly loved animals. I was reassured that Coco was covered and the payments were made directly to the vets (£2,400) with me paying excess of just £65. Unbelievably this did not affect the premium on my insurance the following year. There was no wriggling, no suspicion, no delay - just kind, extremely efficient and high value handling of our case. I have since recommended bought-by-many to anyone who is interested - they are THAT GOOD. Coco and her family (us) feel in very safe hands. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020
