When the worst happened

We looked at reviews and heard first hand from friends how good bought by many was. We weren't entirely convinced as the policy was more expensive than some others but we went with the recommendation anyway. We were so glad we did! After a normal walk through the fields near our house, our 2 year old dog started coughing, the cough got worse and worse. We worried that she has breathed in a head of barley or something from the fields. Unfortunately we were correct. She underwent the first procedure at our vets but they couldn't get to the obstruction so referred her to a specialist practice. 5 days and nearly five thousand pounds later our beautiful dog was home. We would never have been able to pay fees that large and would have had some heartbreaking decisions to make if we hadn't had great and very comprehensive insurance. Bought by many kept us fully informed and reassured us every step of the way. They were brilliant! We are so pleased we listened to friends. Fantastic! Reviewed on: 16th September 2020
