brilliant and innovative customer portal set up.....resolution in seconds

I had my beloved Ford KA car returned to me from having a full service and new windscreen wipers. We have been together for12 years without a hitch. The next day I noticed a cracked windscreen just below the new offside windscreen wiper blade . I have been driving for nearly 40 years and this was a first! Even though I could not say hand on heart that the garage was responsible I checked the ONE CALL website for contact and claim details and within seconds I had been able to access their online customer portal. Literally within a few more seconds the online agent had confirmed that I was covered and within minutes I was set up with a date for the replacement screen to be fitted. Wonderful...how refreshing, not to be placed on hold for hours with irritating music in the background, especially as so many companies are struggling to give a good standard of care to their customers in this awful covid climate.
