Review of the The Co-operative Bank, Student Current Account:

Frustrating

On the front, The Co-Operative student account was fantastic. £1400 interest free overdraft, Internet banking, 24/7 phone support = happy client. Right? Wrong. I had the account from June 14-Jan 15 and used there phone lines approximately 30 times. I knew the switchboard codes off by heart. From placing temporary blocks in my account twice for bizarre reasons to not sending bank statements or allowing me to access internet banking. Overall, a frustrating and difficult service. The ethical principle still stands in favour however and I would consider other products in the future, but not as my main current account. Reviewed on: 11th January 2015
