Great Current Account

I've had this account for my main spending for a couple of years now, opened back when you got 1% cashback on every debit card transaction. It's disappointing that cashback is now limited to groceries, fuel and travel, but that's still pretty good, particularly as there are no monthly fees. The app is easy to use, and on the odd occasion I've needed customer services they have been great. The interest rate has dropped on the savings accounts, but still worth having for setting some money aside. I have recommended Chase to friends and family, and will continue to do so as the savings rate for new customers is good, even though this doesn't benefit me personally! Great all round account

Easy to use app. Good rewards (though not as good as before). I particularly like that there are no fees for spending abroad. Linked savings with a boosted rate, and very easy to move between accounts. Reviewed on: 12th June 2025

PayPal is so easy to use

PayPal is so easy to use, particularly when you need to split a bill. I also value the buyer protection - have had several times when a purchase has gone wrong with a seller. Reviewed on: 26th May 2025

My renewal with Policy Expert had gone up significan...

My renewal with Policy Expert had gone up significantly. After using a comparison site I called Policy Expert and they were able to better the other quotes I'd received. Annoying that the price had hiked in the first place, but I ended up with a premium I was comfortable with. Fortunately I've not needed to claim, so can't comment on the processing. Excellent account

The rewards are great - 1% cash back, 1% interest, 5% on round ups, good rate on savings, and no charges for using abroad. However, it's frustrating that the amount to pay in to qualify for cash back for existing customers has jumped up to £1,500. The app is simple and easy to use, though the refresh rate is a bit slow.
