Excellent tool for teaching money sense!

Nimbl has allowed me to provide my children with their first “bank accounts”, so that they can learn how to appreciate the concept of managing money. They each earn money for doing their chores and it’s so simple for me to top up my balance and transfer the small amounts as they earn them. They can see their balances in their apps and they get to make decisions around what to spend their money on and if they want to save for something meaningful to them. These are skills that will help them budget when they are adults. I have control over how and where they can spend their money; for instance I have it set so that they can’t withdraw money at ATMs, keeping them safer when they are out and about. I get notifications to my phone when they spend money on their cards, enabling me to monitor where and how much they are spending and if there is anything I am concerned about, I can then ask them about it, rather than being completely in the dark. They use their cards just like any bank card, for purchases on Amazon and for gaming benefits through the X Box etc. I am so happy with this service because it is a tool to teaching my children about the value of earning your money and then spending it wisely.
