Review of the Starling Bank, Current account:

British banking revolutionised

Firstly I cannot sing Starlings praises enough they are EXEMPLARY at what they do. I have worked for both HSBC UK and First Direct. More relevantly I have worked for First Direct just 2 years ago and I know they pride themselves on customer service but you guys at Starling have absolutely smashed them out of the park... they are way behind, struggling to make money (isn’t that the whole point of a bank?!?) and the customer service level is wayyyyyy below Starling. Cards for example First Direct 3-5 working days, Starling 2 NORMAL days! My application took minutes, I can label my spending, saving and investing accurately and I am looking to open a business account with them this year. I have never recommended a bank to anyone as much in my life and as soon as it gets floated on the stock market (fingers crossed 2022) I will be putting my money where my mouth is and investing all spare cash into Starling bank.
