Great idea for teaching children to save up their pennies

My son likes to see his money going into his account and then saving it for a special toy. When we're in shops and he asks for something, I tell him if he wants to spend his money he can have it. This makes him stop and think about whether he really wants it. It's important to start learning about money, budgeting and spending when young. Reviewed on: 5th February 2021
