Learn about money and earn it.

Started out using this for my eldest son (now 13) a couple of years ago because he had an impromptu school trip (they’d won a competition) and of course the trip fell on payday which meant I couldn’t send him with very much actual cash - enter GoHenry which meant as soon as my pay came in I could transfer him enough money quickly. I also got to see where he was spending. We then started using it as a way for him to earn money for chores which works well. We’ve now introduced my youngest son to it and he loves it, he likes earning his pocket money and especially likes how he can use the app to set himself savings goals and watch the app as he achieves his aim to get what he really wants. It’s then also nice that sometimes they decide to ‘treat’ us and the odd chocolate bar will appear, so it’s meant that they’re learning to save, spend and give! Reviewed on: 6th February 2021
