Simple, easy to use

GoHenry, while not a bank account, is a great way for children of all ages to save and earn extra pocket money, all the while having their own card and access to their own app so they feel responsible for it. As a parent, I have full control over all aspects of their spending and can get a detailed overview of what they are spending, however it still feels to them like their own account and really does make a difference to how they spend money. An example, previously when we went out, they would ask for all sorts of junk at the supermarket. Now I tell them, yes, but you’ll need to use your own pocket money and 9 times out of 10, they decide not to and to keep it in their account. They like to see it grow every week and it encourages them to save up for something decent, rather than fritter it away on rubbish. My experience with GoHenry has been noting but positive, and I would, and indeed have recommended it to other parents. Very impressed. Reviewed on: 12th February 2021
