Review of the Halifax, Fixed Rate Mortgage:

Easy to set up

We applied for a mortgage last year and had very choices as my husband had been resident in the UK for less than 2 years. Halifax was one of the few banks that were open to us and were able to obtain the mortgage and buy our first home with a 5% downpayment, they also had a 2,000 cashback offer at the time which was great to pay the fees. We're very happy to be on the property ladder and have had a good experience getting our mortgage with Halifax. Reviewed on: 29th June 2017

Hassle free

We needed a personal loan for house renovations and found Ratesetter via Google. The whole application process was smooth, fast and hassle-free. We learned of our soon after submitting our application and the money was in our account the next day. We were able to complete the renovations as planned and are now enjoying our home thanks to the loan from Ratesetter.
