Wow - Customer Service

Customer service, in the true use of the term, is very rare nowadays. Blame the customer. Hide the corporation's failures. Ignore the customer in the hope they go away. That is what I experience most of the time when contacting a 'customer service' department. To be honest, I cringe, realise there will likely be little help at best and more likely no help ... however an abundance of frustration. Not at Starling Bank! I can say from personal experience there are actual human beings at Starling Bank's customer service. Oh the joy! They actually listen to the issue and then proceed to help. Not necessary via the dreaded checklist/flowchart 'service' method but by logical thinking <gasp!>, knowledge & experience. Starling Bank customer service can and do reply with emails that are not only understandable and grammatically correct, but indicate they actually did READ my entire email and understood it. I was concerned about using an online only bank. However with a several interactions with Starling Bank's honest customer service by email and phone, I'm confident they will resolve any future issues I may experience. Well done Starling Bank.
