In a Pandemic, it seems few banks are able to be truelly digital

Emigrating to the UK during a pandemic is not ideal. Trying to arrange banking services has been almost impossible. As a new person in the UK, even when I could apply online many banks refused to allow me in branch for identity validation and I simply could not open an account. In four days, Starling onboarded me and had my card with me with enhanced due diligence done on their side. the app is great, the services work and it seems to me a clear step above other offerings.
