One of the best things I have done as a parent is start using GoHenry!

GoHenry has given my daughter so much independence and responsibility. Being able to see her chores and progress throughout the week motivates her to work for her money. She loves saving her money with the targets and automatic transfers. And friends and family often send her gifts using GoHenry as it is so easy and they are able to write a message along with the transfer. There is an option to thank the person for the gift immediately, again giving my daughter independence and responsibility. The parental controls that I have allow me to give my daughter full independence but teach her at the same time that privileges can be taken away. I can cut her money, block her card, or set spending limits. I am always recommending this app to friends and family. It is such a helpful way to teach your children about money, and allowing them to have control over their finances, while managing the extent to which they can make mistakes!
