Absolutely love the ethical investments crowdfunding...

Absolutely love the ethical investments crowdfunding platform, including Innovative Finance ISA. The bond and share offers cover a range of ethical areas and clearly present their credentials, as well asgoving appropriate emphasis to the high risk nature of this type of investment. Had this account over a decade now, spreading my investment across the different funds held within, and current Trump tariff turmoil aside it's been doing well. I like the transparency, including quarterly narratives not only on how the each fund is doing but also noting specific investments with comments on how they meet the particular fund's core values. Also find the 'linked cash account' easy to use, via the online banking. The only feature I would like them to add is ability to upload a scanned ISA transfer form, at least for transfers between different Triodos ISAs, as their IFISA already allows for transfers from [any] cash ISA, rather than having to post paper each time. Fund just keeps getting better!

These perform rather well compared against the market, with the bonus of knowing the companies are selected for sustainability/ethical as well as financial criteria. I like the different funds giving different options of risk/reward balance to suit personal tastes. Also much easier to administer this financial year, with electronic submission of purchase requests added to pre-existing bank transfer payment option. Reviewed on: 26th February 2021
