The best choice for an ethical banking

Changing my bank was one of my favourite swaps of my ‘living a more sustainable and ethical life’ journey. I love the fact that my money is used in way which reflects my values. I am always very vocal about how much I appreciate banking with Triodos and never miss an opportunity to connect with people who I happen to notice, also pay with Triodos debit card. Would never go back

There should be more emphasis on what your bank does with the help of your money. Once I had learned that, I had been terrified that, while my everyday choices were made with the best intentions towards other people, animals and our planet, I was inadvertently responsible for what my bank was doing to help destroy it. I closed my old personal and savings accounts and opened both with Triodos. Though I do miss apple pay sometimes, I would never go back, because it’s a small price to pay for knowing my money work to better our collective future. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022

Best option for sustainable lifestyle

Being an environmentalist, a vegan and trying to reduce waste in my life as much as possible, it was only logical for me to switch to a bank that mirrors the values I live my everyday life by. I can’t imagine choosing to spend my money with companies which are sustainable, support charities and care about people, while keeping my money with a bank that is funding companies which are destroying everything I care for.
