Good bank - but could do a bit better

The co-operative bank has been very reliable. I banked with them as a teen - wrote quirky letters which they responded to nicely. Then as an adult 'I banked around'. But later I returned to the Co-op for a reliable personal and business account. OK for me things haven't gone so well in later life, I've ended up with a debit-only account - and my 'once successful' business account closed down. But I'd still recommend them. But there was one thing that always annoyed me. As a business customer I was unable to take my bank data into my accountant's system. So I spent long weekends keying in data rather than focusing on managing my money. Then as a personal customer - same problem - trying to start-up again as a 1-man business via my personal account I couldn't extract banking data. I could have used a 99p/month accounting system like Sage if only I could extract the bank data. So after 15 years I'm still waiting for that change to proper digital banking and accounting.
