Review of the Starling Bank, Current account:

As a current account it's perfect.

I've been a Starling customer for a few years now and several features stand out for me - The customer service has always been, quick, helpful and on point. The app itself is very easy to use (although like with all apps when it's upgraded, there's always something in a different place or menu that takes a while to find). There are no fee's even when you use the card abroad. And although the interest rate has reduced, you still get something, which is a great deal better than nothing, which is what a lot of current accounts give. If they had a linked savings account that gave a market matching rate of interest I'd go so far as to say they'd be the perfect bank, but alas my savings are elsewhere. Reviewed on: 11th March 2021
