Ecology Building Society: Best ethical savings

A solid building society which has remained true to its grassroots principles. Exceptional customer support to help manage savings. A beacon of light in a crowded market place which other larger mutuals would do well to emulate. A leader in lending to sustainable living projects, which is growing in importance if we are to tackle greenhouse gas emissions and the recovery of nature. Ecology Building Society manages to combine the friendliness of a local company with a national reach, and is less well recognised than it should be as a pioneer in the field.
