Replacement Debit Card

Last weekend I misplaced my debit card, I say I lost it, but it was last seen in the hands of my four year old!!! Through my Barclays Mobile APP I was able to report the card lost, cancel it and order a new one in less than a minute. The new card arrived with me within 3 working days. Barclays Business Banking

I have banked with Barclays as Business Customer for 3 years. When I can do something online myself I have no issues. As with all Barclays accounts I find their online service to be vastly superior to their competition. I also have business accounts through HSBC and Nat West and their online systems and apps don't get near Barclays - Premier league versus League One! But when it comes to on the phone service, the local business managers at Barclays are lazy at best. I have only had cause to inconvenience him twice in two years - and for that I apologise - I had the gaul to send him one email - asking if he might be able to help a company I had invested in switch their business banking to barclays - he never replied and last night I emailed asking if he could help me access a long-term savings account for the business. I wanted a 90 day access account and couldn't find one online - I emailed asking for help - this was the reply; Hi Paul we don't have a 90 day notice savings account for business, all are accounts are instant access top rate at the moment is 0.5% regards, Well - done Barclays - strong customer focused effort there!!! Great account for new and small businessess

I have had two small businesses accounts with Barclays since 2012. I have direct access to a local business manager via both email and a telephone number. This relationship manager is also supported by a telephone team. The first year of banking is free. The second year sees some small, but reasonable charges apply. Barclays also put you onto their Connector programme which publishes advice on running a small business, this is not so useful, but as it only means you receive emails that give you the option to access further information or not, it is not intrusive.
