Review of the Staysure, Travel insurance:

Abysmal

My wife and I have been long term customers of Staysure with no claims record. We found ourselves marooned in South Africa due to covid and sought an extension of the 100 day cover we had. We decided to sit out restrictions in SA rather than quarantine in the Heathrow Gulag. Of course we expected to pay and see a time limit on an extension - that goes without saying. Some out of the box thinking was needed to help customers in difficult situations. Not from Staysure who took the view too bad folks you just have to spend time in the Gulag. Staysure refused an extension saying they did not know how long restrictions might last. We did not ask for a permanent extension!! To cap it all when we complained we were referred to someone who seemed not to read emails, inexplicably telephoned us on our home number in UK and said they were working from home 2 days a week and had poor internet connection.
