Switched to online banking with a switched on bank!

I've used one or two of the big high street named banks before and mainly for online banking. I found the apps a bit clunky and more often than not, my balance wasn't presented to me in real time, because, y'know, that's how life is and when I spend money I need to keep a track on what's In and out! I made a considered switch to starling after reviewing other competitors and I'm absolutely blown away by the service it provides me. Not only do I get real time balance updates, but it also tells me what's going to come out 24hrs before it's due! It also tells me how much I'll be paid by my employer (something I have to jump through hoops at work to find out). Setting up, editing and cancelling direct debits is actually fun and easy to do. Help on messaging is always at hand, even during the 'busy" periods other banks suffer from. I'd recommend this bank to anyone. Great service and fantastic app facilities.
