A promise met

I needed a separate bank account to gather up some family money. My existing bank of 30 years said they might be able to help and would come back to me. I then saw a Starling advert saying 'a new account in 10 minutes'. Ten months more likely given past experience with banks. But nothing ventured nothing gained and I gave Starling a go. Surprise, surprise the account at Starling was opened in 9 minutes 30 seconds. I am still waiting for my old bank, soon to be exbank, to come back to me! No surprise. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021
