Good solid savings platform

Very easy to use interface, and any winnings get paid straight in to your savings account. Moving money between accounts is also straight forward, with clarity on whether you are close to your limit if applicable (like the fixed saver) and when the limits reset. Also easy linking to your external bank account for easy and instant transfers in and out of your account. Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

Easy and fun money management

I initially opened the account to have as a spending account alongside my main high street bank account. After only 6 months I initiated the switch as Starling makes managing money so much easier. Little things such as pending transactions appearing immediately, rather than having an available balance and actual balance mismatch. The idea of rounding up in to spaces is so very simple and negates the need for a basic savings account. This really is banking with the consumer’s needs in mind, something the high street banks could learn from. Reviewed on: 6th April 2021
