Review of the Metro Bank, Business Banking:

This is not a good bank if you work abroad.

I've been working abroad and I tried to speak to a business bank manager about applying for a company credit card. For months I could not get in touch with my assigned account manager. The first line of telephone support said I'd have to go into a branch, they did not understand that flying back to the UK to have a conversation was not time/cost effective. I left messages & sent emails to the account manager but no response. I eventually had a flight booked home and went into a different store. I was able to take out a personal credit card without issues, but, I still was unable to speak to a business bank manager about a company card. A month went by and I was abroad, I called up to change account managers, I then got through to a new account manager who had replaced my old account manager. The 15minute discussion I had with the new account manager. I figured out that metro bank do not offer good business credit cards. what a load of wasted time! this info and application could be posted on their website! Reviewed on: 7th April 2021
