Disruptive & different, in a good way

It’s highly unlike me to take time out of my day to rain down praise upon a financial institution but in Zopa’s case I have to make an exception. The elitism and outdated ideology’s of the big banks is crumbling under the pressure of new Fintechs like Zopa with their inclusive & accessible products, cool messaging and a great UX delivered through their fantastic app. Eagerly awaiting a current account to be part of their portfolio. Expectations Exceeded

When I tentatively searched for a loan through Experian just after Christmas, it was based more on curiosity than intention of actually applying, but the car we had was getting old & tired and I preferred the idea of my wife and baby travelling around in a newer, safer vehicle. When the search result came back as pre-approved from Zopa, that idea became a new exciting reality. We found a car that we liked at a local dealership just a few hours later and put down a deposit. Despite it being new year, the contact from Zopa was timely and consistent and I didn't have to do anything else with the application aside from signing the paperwork, they dealt with the garage and transferred the money in a couple of days. Now we're very happy with our R-Line Tiguan and I'm very happy that I applied. The app is also great for tracking the loan status and credit health. Very impressed. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021
