An ok service. Cheapest car insurance quote by some way. BUT....very disappointed to discover that Admiral now asks if anyone on the policy has attended a speed awareness course, and there is an increase in the price for doing so. I thought the whole idea behind these courses was to keep your license free from points and that there would be so subsequent insurance effect. Yet another money-making scam by insurance companies. Not good and just proves how low insurance companies will go. Reviewed on: 5th July 2017

Does the job

When I first needed Landlord Insurance, The Insurance Octopus (TIO) was the only company offering competitive rates. To date, I have not needed to use my insurance policy but all renewals and general admin have been effortless. Additionally, the rates have reduced considerably and I think TIO offers a very competitive deal. I am not a huge fan of insurance companies; there is a trend among many companies to want to squeeze you for hidden extras, which I find extremely irritating. My TIO policy always seems to present a fair and comprehensive deal without wishing to see me off. I am sure I could get cheaper elsewhere but I am very happy and I feel that this company deserves my business. I would recommend TIO without hesitation. Reviewed on: 5th July 2017
