Review of the nimbl, Prepaid Debit Card:

Super convenient!

We have been using nimbl with our 2 boys now for a number of years. It has made paying pocket money and receiving gifts from friends and relatives really easy. The app ensures topping up accounts, checking balances and notifications on money spent is never more than a tap away. It would be even easier if I could set up a monthly direct debit straight into my parent account to pay pocket money, but the app does tell me if I'm running low on funds which counteracts this and makes sure I never miss paying my children with a quick monthly top up. Now they have their own phones, they enjoy having the app themselves to check their balances and transfer funds from their savings into their nimbl accounts when needed. Prior to using nimble it was harder to keep track of whether I'd paid the children their pocket money or not. Cheques from relatives would need paying into my account and then withdrawn in cash - these monetary gifts would build up in their wallets and anything bought online would need to be paid on an adult card and paid back in cash. It's great that the children are able to use their own cards to make purchases online and in-store. Nimbl makes managing the boys finances so much easier - the grandparents love how easy it is too! The ease of use makes it worth the small fee per month and has given my children an insight into how to manage their money at the same time. Thank you nimbl. Reviewed on: 10th April 2021
