Being able to have all bank interactions from your phone is transformational during a pandemic

I've read about a traditional bank (Barclays I think?) customer, a pensioner, being forced to go into branch to continue to access their money. I expect that with Monzo now having millions of customers, there being no branches has averted some cases of coronavirus transmission by now, and maybe some lives. Reviewed on: 12th April 2021
