Long complaint process, unhelpful staff down to zero...

I phoned to arrange to bring my balance down to zero and asked Vanquis to waive the additional £172 they’d just added in interest and charges, which they wouldn’t do when I complained about the customer service advisor telling me it was my own fault and I ‘should organise my finances better’ I escalated the complaint…I have now paid the balance but the extra fee has been accumulating interest and Vanquis have advised it takes 30 days to process complaints. As the interest on this account is already quite high I feel that Vanquis could be more helpful and user friendly Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Brilliant friendly bank

I chose to move both my business and current accounts to Triodos several years ago as I wanted my bank to share the values and aims of my ethical business. They have proven to be not only ethical and supportive of people and planet considerate businesses but friendly, efficient and helpful, by far the best bank I have ever used. Friendly, helpful, ethical bank.

Really friendly team of people who always help effectively with any queries. Communicate well and don’t bombard you with sales pitches like a previous high street bank I was with. I have recommended them to close family and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others as ethical banking ought to be a priority. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Friendly ethical bank

I joined Triodos because of their refreshing and vital decision to operate as an ethical bank. Having now banked with them both as a personal customer and as a business for several years I would also like to add they are one of the friendliest and most helpful of all the banks I have used over the last 30 years.
