Peace of Mind

About 5 years ago I was made redundant from a senior management role. I have a daughter with very serious heart conditions and struggled to find work that would pay enough to keep on top of things, but give me work life balance. Consequently I ended up in huge debt, defaulting on loans and finance deals etc that had previously been affordable. After a couple of years the stress of being in debt and taking pay day loans and getting further in debt was unbearable! When I contacted Step Change they immediately made me feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel and came up with a realistic repayment plan! I still have a few years to go until myself and my family are debt free, but I no longer worry about it and know that we will eventually clear our debts, whilst still being able to feed and clothe my loved ones without getting further into debt!!
