Life savers

My circumstances changed dramatically after my long-term relationship ended, I was made redundant from my job and was on my own with a baby and a mortgage to pay. My mum was looking after my baby so I was able to work full time but then suffered a heart attack and needed live saving surgery. After that everything changed I had to drop my hours in work and put my son in nursery. I had not long taken out finance on a car and was struggling to pay everything. I ran up credit card debts, an overdraft and store cards. Once the 0% interest period ran out I was unable to do balance transfers or take out a consolidation loan as my income was so low. I wasn’t sleeping was stressed out of my mind with worry when I found out about Stepchange. They were amazing so empathetic towards me and helpful. They put my mind at ease and took away all my worry. I am so grateful for the amazing service they offer and don’t know what I would have done without them. Can’t thank them or praise them enough.
