I wanted to move my savings from RBS to a credit union in an effort to use financial services more ethically. The switchover was quick and easy, and it is very convenient for £X to be automatically deducted from my payslip into my Capital Credit Union account each month. I've recently downloaded the app and it is useful for checking my balance, albeit a bit scant on other features. I'd expect this to improve over time. I've docked one star as the customer service has been a little bit unresponsive. I did not understand the online portal for making debit card deposits and I queried why they weren't being processed. I eventually called up after receiving no response and resolved the issue, but it was more effort than it needed to be. Reviewed on: 5th July 2021
