A way out

When I discovered StepChange could help after I was going through a bad time and ran up thousands of pounds online gambling they helped me so much sort myself out . People I spoke to were brilliant, sympathetic and none judgmental . I was in a bad way at that time and almost at a point where I thought I have only one way out . Let’s say StepChange saved not only my life but my marriage and my family . I’m managing so much more and my mental health has improved due to the people at StepChange. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Helped me through a bad period when I had nowhere to turn too . Probably saved my life and marriage with the support and understanding they provided

I ran up online gambling debts due to depression.my husband found out as I was of control trying to pay credit cards. In several occasions it crossed my mind there was only one way out the mess but I got in touch with StepChange . They listened and helped . Made me realise I’m not alone . I have never gambled since and I am in a happy place . They made me realise I can live on a budget and still have some money for important things in life . I owe StepChange a massive thankyou.
