A way out of debt

I didnt know where to turn as i had accrued 20000.00 pounds of debt. i wasnt very well paid and it had mounted up from just living costs i rarely went out didnt smoke i was so embarrassed but then i was told about Stepchange and plucked up tge courage to ring them . To my shame i even lied to them about how much debt i was in but i rang them back the next day and told them everything. They worked out a plan for me on what i could afford and the relief that there was a way out was immense. I have 4 more payments to make and i will finally be debt free. Over the years i have had to amend the plan you are reviewed every year so cost of living rises in food and utilitiy bills are accpunted for or even if you just find yourself struggling.
