Cannot give a high enough recommendation

From saving us from sleepless nights; from feeling we had nowhere to go to solving our financial problems; from giving us the confidence to 'face' our debts rather than burying our heads in the sand; to know there is a way out of the black hole we were in; to speaking to someone that didn't judge us. We are now on the road from debt recovery and although we are not clear of debt yet, we have come a long way and we don't have the fear of letters arriving that were threatening to take us to court. We cannot say enough good things about Step Change and their staff. They were literally life savers and made us feel human again. They really deserve this award for making thousands of people in the same position feel they are not failures. Sometimes it's just what life throws at you that takes you in to debt. I'd say to anyone that picking up the phone and making that first call is the first step and by the time you get off the phone after speaking to their staff on that very first call, you feel as though a weight has been lifted.
