From despair to success!

I was despairing about my debt and at the end of my tether with trying to manage it on my own. I felt I didn't have anyone to turn to for help and I was embarrassed to ask. Then I heard about StepChange.. I made a phone call, it was sympathetically answered and I was guided through the process, by a very patient person. A great weight was lifted when StepChange took over the situation for me. They kept me updated and informed all the way. Any queries were handled positively. 5 years on and I'm debt free! I was trying to manage my debts on my own but it was becoming overwhelming. It was easy to set up a Debt Management Plan with StepChange. They managed all of the conversations with creditors on my behalf and helped me to work out how much I could afford to pay. This has made it easier to Plan and work it into my monthly budget.
