Comforting reassurane when needed

Our 6 month French bulldog suddenly started to yelp when picked up and stocked near his rear shoulder blades. Our vet examined him and gave him medicine to alleviate inflammation and pain. However, over the next few days he continued to yelp when picked up or touched around his rear. He also started to refuse to go up the few 'doggy' stairs to his favourite position on the couch. We and our children were extremely concerned and contacted our insurer, Pet Lifetime Cover, who quickly sent us a claim form to hand over to the vet. so as to continue with the diagnosis of his condition. It was very comforting to have such immediate help with the future costs involved, especially with Covid related financial constraints on the family. He was sedated and the x rays showed there were no serious issues probably just tissue bruising from the boisterous nature of Frenchies. We can't thank Pet Lifetime Cover enough for the support they gave us during this investigation paying the vetinary fees in full without any quibbles. which was very supportive.
