What I thought would be a nightmare

Entering in to the IVA was really scary. I was ashamed, scared and worried about the future but the staff at PayPlan helped me and now I am in my 4th year of my IVA so over half way until the end. Staff have been helpful any time I’ve needed their advice and helped to reassure me that everything would be ok. As long as you stick to the plan and stay focused you can get there. I’m glad I chose PayPlan because they helped me see there was light at the end of the tunnel and helped to take any shame away. That first phone call was difficult for me to make but I am so glad I did. They didn’t judge me; instead helped me see a way forward. As for debt, I think there should be more done to educate children how to manage their money and maybe this is something PayPlan could look into in the future. Reviewed on: 19th August 2021
