An honest opinion

I’ve had a generally positive experience with the Vanquis Credit Builder Credit Card over the past years. I originally applied because I wanted to improve my credit history and have a card that was easier to manage than some mainstream options. The application process was straightforward, and I received a decision quickly, which was helpful at the time. One of the things I appreciate most is how clear and easy the account management has been. The online account and app make it simple to check balances, monitor spending, and make payments on time. Notifications and payment reminders have also helped me stay organised and avoid missing due dates, which is important when trying to build or maintain a good credit score. The card has been useful for everyday spending and smaller purchases, and using it responsibly has helped me become more disciplined with budgeting. Over time, I’ve noticed improvements in my credit profile, which was one of the main reasons I chose this card in the first place. Customer service has also been very reasonable whenever I’ve needed assistance. Responses were polite and professional, and issues were handled without too much difficulty. I also appreciate that the company gives customers opportunities to review and monitor their accounts regularly. The main downside is the interest rate, which is quite high compared to standard credit cards. Because of that, I would only recommend this card to people who are committed to paying off their balance in full or keeping borrowing low. As a credit-building product, though, it serves its purpose well and can be a useful stepping stone toward stronger credit options in the future.
