Excellent service, good value

So far they have been excellent, and whenever I've needed to talk to them they've been knowledgeable and efficient. To temper this slightly, they are definitely slightly more expensive than other options, and so they could improve on their multi-car and multi-insurance (house and car) insurance in order to make their insurance more appealing. Even better, they could refuse to fall into the modern trap of penalising loyalty in their customers by charging ridiculous amounts for renewals. This isn't specific to Admiral, but I'd love to see Admiral or some insurance company take a stand and reward loyalty instead of punishing it, akin an attempt to retain customers rather than driving them away.... In addition, I haven't had to claim yet, so can't comment on how good they are on claims - hoping that's what we're paying a bit extra for though, o ensure that they're fair and reasonable when claims are required. Good value, excellent customer service

The first year the quote was great, and the service matched it. The next couple of years we've also got good value, and the customer service has continued to be excellent. Our only complaint is that every renewal comes back ridiculously high (despite having had no claims). To their credit, when we ring up to cancel they then manage to find discounts that mean they end up keeping our business, however it's frustrating that you have to waste time calling every time in order to get a decent renewal quote! Would be much better that they just reward loyalty and offer recent renewal quotes immediately, but I guess this is the way the entire industry works now, so I suppose we can't blame Admiral for that. Hopefully one day though they'll step up and stand above the other companies by doing the right thing and offering their best renewal quotes up front - if they did this, backed up by their great customer service, I think they'd corner the market quickly. Let's see if they have the vision to make the right move .... Reviewed on: 12th September 2021
