Poor reaction to flight abandonment & always had to chase

Technically under the insurance buying a new flight, when Ryanair cancelled our flight was not included. But we had a chance to fly back home from a close airport but needed to book the flights immediately, as there was 100's of people trying to get home, so booked the flights straight away. If we had nor been able to get that 1 flight, we would have been at leat 3 extra days of accommodation etc to cover. They initially offered to pay for lunch.The most annoying part was that t...
