Great way to give kids financial responsibility

I started with 2 cards for our children to pay for bus fares to school during covid. The buses wouldn't accept cash payments, but it also ended the eternal made dash for change for their bus fares. I now can transfer the weeks fares on a Sunday evening and their pocket money goes in on a Monday after weekend chores are done. The app notifications are great as you can see where they are spending there money, as an unexpected extra you know when then have paid their bus fare and are either going or returning from school or being out with their mates. We are Foster carers to so we can open an account for them also, without needing a birth certificate etc. The only down side is ghe card can't be transferred to another carer or parents. But the customer service is good and helps you to transfer money back to your account to forward as appropriate. We have done this twice with no issues. Great customer service and easy to set parental controls make this a great card to have. Reviewed on: 16th November 2021
