Best bank

Starling is the best bank I have come across so far in the UK, both from a tech and customer service standpoint. The app is built in a way that makes it extremely easy and convenient to use and every time I need assistance I am able to interact with a human being in short order. Super convenient also for multi-currency accounts. Would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

A bank for our times

I joined Starling from one of the UK banking majors and never looked back. The platform is efficient and has plenty of features to make my life easier (from Spaces, to virtual cards for specific uses, to things as simple as being able to share my bank details with a click), there has never been a security breach or system-is-down problem and customer service is top notch. If you want to put your money where your mouth is

Triodos is a great bank because it sticks to what banks’ missions should be ie serving the community. If you hold an account there you know that your money is benefiting good causes and projects that can make our world a better place. The only area for improvement is their customer facing technology which is still a bit clunky (eg you can’t make a payment online just with the app) Reviewed on: 15th January 2022
