Why can't ALL old style banks......

I don't understand why ALL the old style banks can't learn lessons from Starling. Such as..... With Starling, if I forget my PIN (which is unlikely as they allowed me to choose it when ordering the card!!!!) it takes 1 fingerprint to open the app, 2 clicks to get to the right menu item and another fingerprint to pass the double-secured reminder. Time taken approx 15 SECONDS. The last time I had to get a PIN reminder from my old style banks (TSB) it took me OVER A WEEK to get the letter through the post! I travel a lot. With Starling, I can exchange the exact amount I need, in a few clicks, To/From whichever currencies I want to! Clearly visible is the TINY charge. I can then go ahead and buy in the local currency, no overseas fees, no non-sterling transaction fees and no FX FEES over the TINY charge I was made aware of up front!!!! There are SO many ways in which I prefer Starling. I hope these two small but BRILLIANT examples helps you see why. I'm a disabled ex-military veteran and all of these little ways to help really do add up. My memory isn't what it was, so the PIN reminder is great. And, I live on a fixed income with a War Disablement Pension, so I can't afford to waste money. Starling, you're MY NUMBER ONE BANK OF THE YEAR. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
