Great Banking Experience

After having lived and worked overseas for a number of years, I thought that moving back to a high street bank would be easy, even though the world was in the middle of a global pandemic. I was wrong. In spite of have BG had a relationship with an offshore branch of a @Big Four” bank, it was impossible to convert that to a regular domestic bank account. So, based on other consumer reviews, we took the plunge with Starling and haven’t looked back. Fantastic app, quick and helpful online responses; everything just works the way it should. Any criticism? Not really, although I would like to see a bit of flexibility regarding small temporary overdrafts (under say 500 pounds) when one has State and Government pensions but limited /no credit history due to having lived overseas for decades. All in all though, a brilliant bank with applied tech that keeps banking simple and straightforward. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
