Don’t bother if you invest in crypto

When I started with starling I was able to invest in crypto. However, they have taken the decision to ban all customers from doing this. Unfortunately this meant I was unable to withdraw my assets into my starling account when I needed to, causing untold issues. Don’t trust a bank that unilaterally dictates what you can, and cannot spend your money on. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Established banks beware

I have been with starling for almost 2 years after changing from a major bank who I had been with for 15 years but had become disillusioned with their products. The app is easy to use and has regular feature upgrades, and the use of spaces has transformed the way I allocate my finances. The alerts on my watch often come through to tell me I have spent money before the till has confirmed it. That’s efficiency. I can’t recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
